Formation

| Négative | The store does not open on Sundays. | do / does not + base verbale, sans -s sur le verbe |
| Question | Does the price include delivery? | do / does + sujet + base verbale |

Le présent continu
Formation
be (am / is / are) + verbe en -ing : The technician is repairing the printer. Négation : is not repairing. Question : Is the technician repairing the printer?

|---|---|
| Pensée | know, believe, understand, mean, remember, think (= avoir une opinion) |
| Préférence | like, love, prefer, want, need |
| Possession | have (= posséder), own, belong, include, contain |
| Perception, apparence | seem, appear, sound, look like |
| Mesure, valeur | cost, weigh, measure, depend on |
- This package contains three items.
- I think the proposal is too expensive.think = avoir une opinion : présent simple
- I am thinking about changing suppliers.think = réfléchir (action) : le continu est possible
- The manager is having lunch with a client.have = prendre un repas (action) : continu possible
Piège : Le -s de la 3e personne : « The committee meets », « Each employee receives ».
